i am an artist and writer based in northern colorado. i have always loved alternative comics, physical media and traditional hand-inked art styles. While I often use procreate to color my work, nearly all of the art you see on my site here is hand drawn, inked and lettered.

living in colorado, naturally i am heavily inspired by the natural world around me, and a deep desire to connect with and protect it. in addition to being an artist, i love kayaking, birding and hiking. these experiences influence and inspire my work, as i often bring my sketchbook and 35mm camera with me as i am exploring.

i live on the front range with my wife, dog and cat. they are also a huge source of inspiration for me. the words and images you see in my work are most often created for myself - thoughts and feelings i need to get out on paper, usually about everyday relationships and emotions, living in this often isolating late stage capitalist climate. i share them with all of you in hope that in doing so, someone out there might feel a little less alone.
